Dear readers, I hope you are well. I have written earlier on the topic of illegal migration of Pakistani youth to Europe and many people talk about it. Generally, people read the writing and express their opinion by commenting on it and sometimes they also make negative comments which are surprising.

I travel and speak in the light of my experience and observation. I recently travelled to Turkey and met many people. I also travel to Europe and meet Pakistanis there. But it seems that our nation has become used to not taking anything seriously.

I have written before and I am writing again on the issue of illegal exit from Pakistan. You must know the heart-breaking incident in which hundreds of people lost their lives and the Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced a day of mourning. My request is that we are in a constant state of mourning. Pakistan feels in a state of mourning throughout 365 days of the year. When you travel around the world, you usually meet people who have migrated to their country due to war, civil war, hunger, and poverty. There are Pakistanis who want to migrate to European countries due to the bad conditions of the country and face difficulties and dangers in this way.

Although the situation in Europe and other countries is not good, still it seems that every other Pakistani now wants to leave the country. Some people are coming with visas but many people try to come through illegal means which I have been writing about continuously and you can read my previous writings.

Such people live in no happy situation and their life is worse than animals. They do not get any facilities. When the state and the country cannot give you a dignified life, then people will try to run away from the country. People want to get out of the country by paying up to 25 lac rupees.

On the other hand, if you follow the international news, you will know that people living there are protesting against illegal immigrants and want to get them out of the country because their own conditions are not good and a human tragedy has come to life. It’s the same situation in Italy, Greece, and Turkey as well.

I wonder what the government of Pakistan is doing in this case. Does the government not know how these people are leaving the country? Those Pakistanis who try to go to Europe from Turkey or Libya or other routes, how do they finally leave the country and what are the mafias that guide them? Why doesn’t the government take action against them? I watch videos of women and sisters crying that they don’t want money, they want their children back. Why are these twenty-two-year-old youths putting their lives in danger when there is no hope?

My request to our youth is that have mercy on their lives and those of their families. It’s better to live a simple life, put up a stall, or work hard in any field but don’t risk your life. Never try to get out by any illegal means. Sustenance belongs to Allah, God willing, He will have mercy on you.

I am disappointed with the elite class of Pakistan and those in authority they do not care about the country. Judiciary, establishment, politicians, and bureaucracy have become numb. Their children are not dying. There have been poor children of the nation, who embrace death with the dream of improving the condition of their families. Children of the aristocracy have fun in Europe, so this is not an issue for them.

The truth is that my heart is crying tears of blood. Sadness, regret, and anger are in my heart and it seems that our task now is only to recite the eulogy.

May Allah have mercy on the condition of the youth of our country and protect them, Ameen.
