A Memorable Interview of Former Crown Prince of Jordan, Hassan Bin Talal

Dear readers, it is so unfortunate that I don’t want to do or write anything these days. It might be because of my sickness.

After many days I got an opportunity to watch an interview with a world leader and was surprised how there are leaders with great vision in the Muslim Ummah, but we are not very familiar with them. At first, the content was not much understandable due to a lack of familiarity with the English language. Now we have become so familiar with this language that the content broadcasted and printed in it can be understood, Alhamdulillah.

By the way, it is not possible to watch TV regularly for a long time, and I don’t want to watch the news at all, but sometimes I watch Al-Jazeera or TRT news for a while in the morning so that I can get to know and understand something new. Yesterday too, TRT, a Turkish news channel, was switched on, and a beautiful person was sitting there talking to a scholar, and it was very nice to see him. Their conversation was outstanding, and I thought I might recognize them. After listening for some time, I learned he is the former Crown Prince of Jordan, Hassan Bin Talal.

His interview was fantastic, and I will write a separate article on it.

Prince Hasan Bin Talal may not be recognized by the youth of today. His relationship with Pakistan has also been profound. Sarwat Ikramullah, the youngest daughter of Pakistan’s former foreign secretary Ikramullah, was born in 1947 and received her higher education in Britain. Meanwhile, Prince Hasan was also studying there, so they met there and got married in August 1968. This marriage was also interesting and took place with great fanfare. PTV telecasted this marriage live. The witnesses of the wedding were Field Marshal General Ayub Khan and King Shah Hussain of Jordan himself. The media also gave special coverage to this marriage. It was an atmosphere of celebration all over Pakistan, and Karachi was specially decorated like a bride. The individuals who witnessed this event and are among us now will definitely have complete information about this. Because of this marriage, Prince Hasan had a special attachment to Pakistan and visited the country regularly. He also spoke Urdu. There are no two opinions on the merit of Prince Hassan. He has also received honorary degrees from many universities around the world. He is the author of many books and is a scholar. Masha Allah, his wife, is also a sensible woman. Proficient in English, French and Arabic.

It was great to see him on screen after a long time, and it was great to watch an interesting and informative interview after a really long time. His words were full of positivity. His grasp of history is firm and provides an excellent analysis of the future situation. Although he did not speak openly on politics, the main reason is that Prince Hassan was the crown prince and his elder brother King Hussain was the king at that time. He was the crown prince for many years, and during this time, Shah Hussain had to go to America for treatment. When he returned from America 4 days before his death in 1999, the first thing he did when he arrived was to remove Prince Hassan bin Talal from the crown. He deposed and named his eldest son as crown prince and died a few days later. Prince Hasan showed his understanding and pledged allegiance to his nephew. He was active and primarily engaged in charity work for a long time, but for some time now, he has been living a life of anonymity.

My only request is that the Islamic world is kept deprived of the leadership of a great thinker and a leader with a clear vision. Today, we all know that there is an evident lack of such educated and worldly leaders in the Muslim Ummah. A detailed discussion of why Prince Hassan was not allowed to become the King of Jordan will be discussed some other time, but there is no doubt that he is a sincere and thoughtful leader, and the Islamic world is in dire need of such individuals.

محترم قارئین آج کل کچھ بھی کرنے اور لکھنے کو دل نہیں چاہ رہا۔ شائد طبعیت کی ناسازی کی وجہ سے یہ کیفیت ہے۔

بہت دنوں بعد مجھے کسی عالمی لیڈر کا انٹرویو دیکھنے کا موقع ملا اور حیرانی ہوئی کہ امت مسلمہ میں کیسے عظیم ویژن رکھنے والے لیڈرز موجود ہیں لیکن ہم ان سے زیادہ واقف نہیں۔ پہلے تو انگریزی زبان سے عدم واقفیت کی وجہ سے اکثر مواد آنکھوں سے اوجھل رہتا تھا لیکن اب اس زبان سے اتنی واقفیت تو ہوگئی ہے کہ اس میں نشر ہونے والا اور چھپنے والا مواد سمجھ آجائے الحمدللہ۔

ویسے تو بہت عرصہ سے باقاعدگی سے ٹی وی دیکھنا ممکن نہیں اور نیوز تو بالکل ہی دیکھنے کو دل نہیں چاہتا لیکن کبھی کبھی صبح کے وقت کچھ دیر کیلئے الجزیری یا ٹی آر ٹی نیوز دیکھ لیتا ہوں تاکہ کچھ نیا دیکھنے اور سمجھنے کو مل سکے۔ کل بھی اسی طرح ٹی آر ٹی جو کہ ترکی کا نیوز چینل ہے وہ لگایا تو وہاں ایک خوبصورت شخصیت بیٹھی علمی اندز سے گفتگو کررہی تھی اور دیکھ کر بہت اچھا لگا۔ ان کی گفتگو بہت اچھی تھی اور مجھے لگا کہ شائد میں انہیں پہچانتا ہوں۔ کچھ دیر کی بات سننے کے بعد مجھے معلوم ہوگیا کہ وہ اردن کے سابق ولی عہد شہزادہ حسن بن طلال ہیں۔

ان کا یہ انٹرویو بہت شاندار تھا اور اس پر الگ سے بھی ایک آرٹیکل لکھوں گا۔

شہزادہ حسن بن طلال کو موجودہ دور کے نوجوان تو شائد بالکل بھی نہ پہچانتے ہوں۔ ان کا تعلق پاکستان کے ساتھ بھی بہت گہرا رہا ہے۔ پاکستان کے سابق سیکرٹری خارجہ اکرام اللہ صاحب کی سب سے چھوٹی صاحبزادی ثروت اکرام اللہ جو 1947 میں پیدا ہوئیں اور برطانیہ میں اعلی تعلیم حاصل کی۔ اسی دوران شہزادہ حسن بھی وہاں زیر تعلیم تھے تو وہاں ان کی ملاقات ہوئی اور پھر اگست 1968 میں دونوں کی شادی ہوگئی۔ یہ شادی بھی بہت دلچسپ تھی اور دھوم دھام سے ہوئی۔ پی ٹی وی نے اس نکاح کو لائیو ٹیلی کاسٹ کیا، نکاح کے گواہ فیلڈ مارشل جنرل ایوب خان اور اردن کے کنگ شاہ حسین بذات خود تھے تو اس نکاح اور شادی کی دھوم کا اندازہ لگایا جاسکتا ہے اور اس اہمیت کے پیش نظر ہی پوری دنیا کے میڈیا نے بھی اس شادی کو خاص کوریج دی۔ پورے پاکستان میں بھی جشن کا سماں تھا اور کراچی کو خاص کر دلہن کی طرح سجایا گیا تھا۔ اس زمانے کے جو حضرات ہم میں موجود ہیں یقینا انہیں اس بارے میں مکمل معلومات ہوں گی۔ اسی شادی کی وجہ سے شہزادہ حسن کو پاکستان سے خاص لگائو تھا اور وہ پاکستان باقاعدگی سے آتے تھے، اردو بھی بول لیا کرتے تھے۔ شہزادہ حسن کی لیاقت پر دو رائے نہیں انہیں دنیا کی کئی یونیورسٹیوں کی جانب سے اعزازی ڈگریاں بھی ملی ہوئی ہیں۔ کئی کتب کے مصنف ہیں اور ایک علمی شخصیت ہیں۔ ان کی اہیلہ بھی ماشاءاللہ ایک سمجھ دار خاتون ہیں۔ انگریزی، فرنچ اور عربی پر عبور رکھتی ہیں۔

بہت عرصہ بعد انہیں سکرین پر دیکھ کر بہت اچھا لگا اور واقعی عرصہ بعد کوئی مزیدار اور معلوماتی انٹرویو دیکھنے کو ملا۔ ان کی باتوں میں پوزیٹوٹی بھری ہوئی تھی۔ ان کی تاریخ پر گرفت بہت زبردست ہے اور آئندہ کے حالات کے حوالے سے بھی بہت اچھا تجزیہ پیش کیا۔ اگرچہ سیات پر وہ کھل کر نہیں بولے اور اس کی بنیادی وجہ یہ ہے کہ شہزادہ حسن ولی عہد تھے اور ان کے بڑے بھائی کنگ حسین اس وقت بادشاہ تھے۔ کئی سالوں تک یہ ولی عہد رہے اور اس دوران شاہ حسین کو علاج کیلئے امریکہ جانا پڑا جب وہ 1999 میں اپنی وفات سے 4 روز قبل امریکہ سے واپس آئے اور آتے ہی انہوں نے پہلا کام یہ کیا کہ شہزادہ حسن بن طلال کو ولی عہدی سے معزول کرکے اپنے بڑے صاحبزادہ کو ولی عہد نامزد کردیا اور کچھ ہی روز بعد ان کا انتقال ہوگیا۔ شہزادہ حسن نے سمجھ داری کا ثبوت دیتے ہوئے اپنے بھتیجے سے بعیت کی اور وفاداری کا اعلان کیا۔ کافی عرصہ تک وہ متحرک رہے اور زیادہ تو چیریٹی کے کام میں مصروف رہے لیکن پھر کچھ عرصہ سے گمنامی کی زندگی گزار رہے ہیں۔

میری گزارش فقط یہ ہے کہ کس طرح عالم اسلام کو ایک عظیم مدبر اور رہنما کی قیادت سے محروم کردیا گیا جو ایک واضح ویژن رکھتے ہیں۔ آج ہم سب جانتے ہیں کہ امت مسلمہ میں ایسے پڑھے لکھے اور جہاندیدہ لیڈروں کی واضح کمی اور فقدان ہے۔ شہزادہ حسن کو کیوں اردن کا کنگ نہیں بننے دیا گیا اس پر تفصیلی گفتگو پھر کبھی لیکن اس بارے میں دو رائے نہیں کہ وہ ایک مخلص اور مدبر رہنما ہیں اور عالم اسلام کو ایسے ہی افراد کی اشد ضرورت ہے

Dear readers, since the day when the FIFA World Cup was approaching in Qatar was approaching, the Western media intensified their offensive attitude against Qatar and started spreading propaganda against them very quickly. It is clear that there is a dictatorship in Africa and no other country violates human rights as much as reported in Africa. In the same way, there are entire mafias, gang wars and drug cartels in the countries of North America, but sports events are also organised there. Similarly, the example of China and Russia is also in front of you.

Sports are not usually criticised because of problems in other countries, but this is the first time that sports are being used for politics.

I commend the Government of Qatar for responding strongly to all the propaganda and ensuring that the event is held. Along with this, the way today’s inauguration event was organised and the message of the Quran was conveyed to the whole world through a disabled motivational speaker who is also a reciter of the Quran was something absolutely remarkable. On the other hand, it was very biased that BBC and ITV did not telecast the opening ceremony. This behaviour is regrettable and incomprehensible; why was this done despite the presence of media teams in Qatar?

These tactics show that if there is such an activity in an Islamic country, they will not tolerate it. I also pay tribute to the Government of Qatar for allocating prayer spaces inside the stadium, organising dawah and tabligh programs and setting up stalls. Perfumes and gifts were arranged for the guests who came to the function. All this is a very positive step and is commendable.

The way Qatar has respected its Islamic traditions in hosting the Football World Cup is an example for all Islamic countries!! A gift of perfume to all spectators at their seats in the stadium.

Qatar called the whole Western world and banned alcohol, banned inappropriate clothing, and five times the sound of adhan is echoed around the stadiums.

Through this mega event, not only is a wonderful impression of Qatar emerging all over the world, but Qatar is also performing the duty of dawah through this medium. It shows that forcefully suppressing Islam does not matter as it emerges in new ways and means. On the other hand, those who claim freedom of speech want to impose their ideas on others, but they do not tolerate anyone else’s ideas, traditions and culture.

فیفا ورلڈ کپ اور قطر کی بےمثال میزبانی

محترم قارئین جب سے قطر میں منعقد ہونے والے فیفا ورلڈ کپ کے انعقاد کے دن قریب آرہے تھے، مغربی میڈیا کی جانب سے قطر کے خلاف جارحانہ انداز اپنانے میں شدت آگئی اور بہت تیزی سے قطر کے خلاف پراپیگنڈہ کرنا شروع کردیا گیا۔ کہا گیا کہ قطر بڑے پیمانے پر انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیاں کرتا ہے اور وہاں مائیگرینٹ ورکرز کے حالات اچھے نہیں ہیں۔

ایشوز تو ہر ملک میں ہوتے ہیں اور اس میں دو رائے ہے بھی نہیں کہ قطر میں بھی ہیں لیکن ورلڈ کپ کے انعقاد سے قبل اتنے تواتر کیساتھ قطر کو نشانہ بنانا اور معاملات کو اچھالنا، یہ سمجھ میں نہیں آتا ۔

جن ممالک میں بھی اس سے قبل ورلڈ کپ ہوئے ہیں یا اسپورٹس کے دیگر بڑے ایونٹس کا انعقاد ہوا ہے وہاں بھی ایشوز تو موجود رہے ہیں ۔

افریقہ میں آپ کے سامنے ہے کہ ڈکٹیٹرشپ ہے اور ہیومن رائٹس کی جتنی خلاف ورزی وہاں ہوتی ہے اور کہیں نہیں ہوتی۔ اسی طرح نارتھ امریکہ کے ممالک میں پورے پورے مافیا، گینگ وارز اور ڈرگ کے کارٹیل موجود ہیں لیکن وہاں بھی سپورٹس ایونٹس منعقد ہوتے ہیں ۔ اسی طرح چین اور روس کی مثال بھی آپ کے سامنے ہے ۔

کسی اور ملک میں موجود مسائل کی وجہ سے وہاں کھیلوں کے انعقاد پر تنقید عمومآ نہیں ہوتی لیکن یہ پہلی دفعہ دیکھنے میں آرہا ہے کہ اسپورٹس کو سیاست کیلئے استعمال کیا جارہا ہے۔

میں قطر کی حکومت کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں کہ اس نے تمام پراپیگنڈا کا بھرپور جواب دیا اور ایونٹ کے انعقاد کو یقینی بنایا۔ اس کے ساتھ جو آج کی تقریب تھی اس میں جیسے افتتاح ہوا اور ایک معذور موٹیویشنل اسپیکر جو قرآن کا قاری بھی ہے اس کے ذریعے سے قرآن کا پیغام پوری دنیا تک پہنچایا گیا وہ بہت قابل تحسین عمل ہے۔ دوسری جانب انتہائی متعصب رویہ دیکھنے کو ملا کہ بی بی سی اور آئی ٹی وی نے افتتاحی تقریب کو ٹیلی کاسٹ نہیں کیا۔ یہ رویہ افسوس ناک اور سمجھ میں نہ آنے والا ہے کہ میڈیا ٹیمز کی قطر میں موجودگی کے باوجود ایسا کیوں کیا گیا؟

ان ہتھکنڈوں سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اگر کسی اسلامی ملک میں ایسی سرگرمی ہو تو ان کو یہ برداشت نہیں ۔ اس کے ساتھ میں قطر کی حکومت کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں کہ انہوں نے اسٹیڈیم کے اندر نماز کی جگہوں کو مختص کیا ہے، دعوت و تبلیغ کے پروگرام مرتب کئے ہیں اور اسٹالز لگائے گئے ہیں ۔ جو مہمان تقریب میں آئے تھے ان کیلئے عطر اور تحائف کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ یہ سب بہت مثبت قدم ہے اور قابل ستائش ہے۔

‏فٹبال ورلڈ کپ کی میزبانی میں جس طرح قطر نے اپنی اسلامی روایات کا مان رکھا ہے وہ تمام اسلامی ممالک کیلئے مثال ہے !! اسٹیڈیم میں سب تماشائیوں کے لیے ان کی سیٹ پر عطر کا تحفہ۔

‏قطر نے ساری مغربی دنیا کو بلا کر شراب پر پابندی لگا دی ، نامناسب لباس پر پابندی لگا دی ، پانچ وقت اذان کی آواز متواتر اسٹیڈیمز کے گرد و نواح میں گونج رہی ہیں۔

اس میگا ایونٹ کے ذریعے سے دنیا بھر میں نہ صرف قطر کا بہت شاندار تاثر ابھر کر سامنے آرہا ہے بلکہ قطر اس ذریعے سے دعوت دین کا کام بھی سرانجام دے رہا ہے۔ اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اسلام کو زبردستی دبانے سے اسلام کو کوئی فرق نہیں پڑتا اور یہ مزید نئے راستے اور ذریعوں سے ابھرتا ہے۔ دوسری طرف جو لوگ فریڈم آف اسپیچ کے دعوے کرتے ہیں وہ اپنے نظریات تو دوسروں پر تھوپنا چاہتے ہیں لیکن کسی اور کا نظریہ، روایات اور ثقافت ان سے برداشت نہیں

Tragic Bus Accident in Sindh and Our Apathy

Dear readers, I just came across the news that there was a bus accident in Sindh where many people were martyred while several were injured, including children and women. First of all, may Allah forgive those who have died in this accident, heal those who are injured as soon as possible and grant patience to the bereaved, Ameen.

Recently, I also visited Sindh to help the flood victims, but our journey was also perilous. The roads were bumpy and broken, and it was more of a death ride as your car could overturn at any moment. We travelled only with trust in Allah.

You can imagine how the people who travel there daily take their lives in the palm of their hands. It has been several months since the floods, and practical work has yet to be done to fix the cuts.

Now, this accident has happened; God forbid, it could be a big accident. This accident is not a minor one. It is necessary to understand the value of human life. God forbid, if this accident had happened in another country, then the inquiry would have been held by now, the responsible would have been determined, and a report would have been prepared. The country’s Prime Minister would have left all other work and reached the spot, and the outcome would have started to bring those responsible to the end.

These things are not included in our priorities, and we have no idea of the greatness of human life. Such accidents are considered normal, and what should our poor people do? Only we can pray that Allah Almighty gives the power to the ruling class to gain consciousness.

You must have seen the news that the Deputy Commissioner has transferred two billion rupees from the Motorway to his personal account. I don’t know how many billions and trillions of rupees have gone into people’s pockets, and this series of corruption is continuing. May Allah guide these people.

This accident is tragic; it is not uncommon for twenty people to die. Among those martyred was a newly married couple. Perhaps the management was waiting for this incident to occur. May Allah guide them.

سندھ میں اندوہناک بس حادثہ اور ہماری بے حسی

 

محترم قارئین ابھی نیوز میں یہ خبر دیکھی کہ سندھ میں بس کا حادثہ ہوا ہے جس میں بہت سے لوگ شہید ہوگئے اور بہت سے لوگ زخمی بھی ہیں اس میں بچے اور عورتیں بھی شامل ہیں۔ سب سے پہلے تو جن افراد کا اس میں انتقال ہوگیا ہے اللہ تعالی ان کی مغفرت فرمائے جو زخمی ہے ان کو جلد از جلد ٹھیک کرے اور لواحقین کو صبر جمیل عطاء فرمائے آمین۔

حال ہی میں میں نے بھی سیلاب زدگان کی مدد کے لیے سندھ کا دورہ کیا تھا وہاں پر ہمارا بھی سفر اسی طرح بہت خطرناک تھا ہم نے خود دیکھا کہ جگہ جگہ کٹ لگے ہیں اور کچھ معلوم نہیں ہوتا کہ کہاں پر سڑک ہے اور کہاں پر کھڈا۔ یہ ایک موت کا سفر تھا اور کسی بھی وقت آپ کی گاڑی الٹ سکتی ہے۔ بس اللہ کے بھروسے اور اس پر توکل کے ساتھ ہی ہم نے سفر کیا۔

آپ اس سے اندازہ لگائیے کہ جو لوگ وہاں پر روزانہ سفر کرتے ہیں وہ کس طرح اپنی جان ہتھیلی پر لے کر یہ کام کرتے ہیں۔ سیلاب آئے ہوئے کئی مہینے بھی ہو گئے اور تب سے جو کٹ لگے ہیں ابھی تک ان کو پورا کرنے کے لیے کوئی عملی کام سر انجام نہیں دیا گیا۔

ابھی تو یہ حادثہ ہوا ہے خدا نا خواستہ اس سے بہت بڑا حادثہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے یہ حادثہ بھی کوئی چھوٹا یا معمولی حادثہ نہیں انسانی جان کی قدر و قیمت کو سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ خدا نا خواستہ یہ حادثہ کسی اور ملک میں ہوا ہوتا تو اب تک انکوائری بیٹھ چکی ہوتی ذمہ داران کا تعین کیا جا چکا ہوتا رپورٹ مرتب کی جا رہی ہوتی۔ ملک کا وزیراعظم باقی تمام کام چھوڑ کر وہاں پر پہنچ چکا ہوتا۔ اور اس کے ذمہ داران کو کیفر کردار تک پہنچانے کے لیے کام شروع ہو چکا ہوتا۔

ہمارے ہاں ترجیحات میں یہ چیزیں شامل نہیں اور انسانی جان کی عظمت کا کوئی تصور ہی نہیں۔ اس طرح کے حادثات کو ایک معمول کی کارروائی سمجھ لیا جاتا ہے ہماری قوم بھی بیچاری کیا کریے، بس اللہ تعالی حکمران طبقے کو ہی ہوش کے ناخن لینے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔

ابھی آپ نے یہ خبر بھی دیکھی ہوگی کہ ڈپٹی کمشنر صاحب نے موٹروے کے دو ارب روپے اپنے پرسنل اکاؤنٹ میں ٹرانسفر کر دیے نہ جانے اس طرح کے کتنے اربوں کھربوں روپے لوگوں کی جیب میں چلے گئے اور کرپشن کا یہ سلسلہ رکنے میں نہیں آرہا اللہ تعالی ان لوگوں کو ہدایت دے۔

یہ بہت دردناک واقعہ ہے بیس افراد کا جاں بحق ہو نا کوئی معمولی بات نہیں ہے۔ ان شہید ہونے والے افراد میں ایک نیا شادی شدہ جوڑا بھی تھا یہ کٹ منچھر جھیل پر دو ماہ سے زائد عرصے سے لگا ہوا ہے اور ابھی تک بھرا نہیں گیا۔ شائد انتظامیہ اسی واقعے کا انتظار کر رہی تھی۔ اللہ تعالی ان کو ہدایت دے

In What Condition Did I See Pakistani Pilgrims during Umrah?

One thing I noticed and observed during my recent trip to Haram Sharif is that many Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan were present there. You can clearly see two classes among them; one class is those who look miserable from their clothes, their lifestyle and appearance and it is clear that they are suffering from financial hardship.

These people are sitting outside the restaurants or standing in the streets for someone to come and provide them with food, as usually, people feed the people who come for Umrah, so they are also waiting for someone to do so.

Seeing such people makes one feel so sad and ashamed too, especially observing a large number of Pakistanis among them. A few years ago, the same was the case with our brother Islamic country, Turkey, where those people suffered from challenging conditions. However, now you see how rapidly Turkey has developed and now Turkish people are seen in every good hotel.

When a state is strong and corruption is stopped, its effects are also visible to the people living there.

However, I also spoke to some of these troubled people there. Some of them have sold their buffaloes, and some have come from some distant village after selling their jewels, only for the love of Bait Ullah Sharif or the love of the Prophet (S.A.W.W) brought them here.

These people live in harsh conditions, with no proper arrangement for housing, and they depend on others for food, but they come here because of the love of Haramain Sharifain in their hearts.

On the other hand, there are a large number of Pakistanis who stay in five-star hotels and enjoy a variety of cuisines.

It is clear how deep and clear the class division is in Pakistan.

Another thing that was felt very strongly is that majority of people come without Umrah training. There is no correct information about Tawaf and Sa’ee and no other basic knowledge as they come here without any training.

Apart from this, I noticed that many people from Pakistan are elderly and come here at an age when they can’t do anything themselves. Ageing is a disease in itself. During Umrah, one has to walk a lot, but due to old age, these people cannot perform all of Umrah’s functions.

Along with the people, the state should look at how to manage all these things and raise the standard of living of its people. Also, when people go for Umrah and Hajj, send them here with proper training. Isn’t it the job of Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Hajj to provide essential guidance to people and allow them to come to Haram Sharif only after training them?

عمرہ کے دوران میں نے پاکستانی زائرین کو کس حال میں دیکھا؟

حرمین شریفین کے حالیہ سفر میں میں نے ایک چیز خاص طور پر نوٹ کی اور اس کا مشاہدہ کیا۔ پاکستان سے بہت بڑی تعداد میں عمرہ زائرین وہاں پر موجود تھے۔ آپ کو واضح طور پر ان میں دو طبقہ محسوس ہوتے ہیں ایک طبقہ وہ ہے جو اپنے لباس سے اپنے رہن سہن سے اور شکل و صورت سے ہی بدحال نظر آتے ہیں اور صاف معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ وہ معاشی تنگی کا شکار ہے۔

یہ لوگ ریسٹورنٹس کا باہر بیٹھے ہوتے ہیں یا پھر راستوں میں کھڑے ہوتے ہیں کہ کوئی آئے اور ان کو کھانا فراہم کرے جیسے کہ عموما لوگ وہاں پر عمرہ کے لئے آنے والوں کو کھانا کھلاتے ہیں تو یہ لوگ بھی اسی انتظار میں ہوتے ہیں کہ کوئی ان کو کھانا دے۔

ایسے افراد کو خاص طور پر ان میں پاکستانیوں کی بڑی تعداد کو دیکھ کر بہت دکھ ہوتا ہے اور شرم بھی آتی ہے۔ کچھ سال پہلے ہمارے برادر اسلامی ملک ترکی کا بھی یہی حال تھا کہ وہ لوگ بہت مشکل حالات کا شکار تھے لیکن آپ اب دیکھیں کہ ترکی نے کس تیزی سے ترقی کی ہے اوراب ہر اچھے ہوٹل میں ترکی کے افراد نظر آتے ہیں ۔

جب ریاست مضبوط ہوتی ہے اور کرپشن رک جاتی ہے تو اس کے اثرات وہاں کے عوام پر بھی ظاہر ہوتے ہیں۔

بہرحال وہاں پر ان پریشان حال لوگوں میں سے کچھ سے میری بات بھی ہوئی۔ کوئی ان میں سے اپنی بھینس بیچ کر آیا ہے کوئی زیور بیچ کر کسی دور دراز گاؤں سے، صرف بیت اللہ کی محبت میں آیا ہے یا پھر روزہ رسول کی محبت اس کو یہاں پر کھینچ لائی۔

یہ لوگ بہت مشکل حالات میں رہتے ہیں رہائش کا بھی کوئی مناسب انتظام نہیں ہوتا اور کھانے کے لیے بھی دوسروں کے محتاج ہوتے ہیں لیکن ان کے دل میں حرمین شریفین کی محبت کی وجہ سے یہاں پر آجاتے ہیں۔

دوسری طرف پاکستانیوں کی ایک بہت بڑی تعداد ہے جو فائیو سٹار ہوٹل میں ٹھہری ہوتی ہے اور انواع و اقسام کے کھانوں سے لطف اندوز ہو رہی ہوتی ہے۔

صاف معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ پاکستان میں طبقاتی تقسیم کتنی گہری اور واضح ہے۔

ایک اور چیز جو بہت شدت سے محسوس کی وہ یہ کہ لوگوں کی اکثریت عمرہ کی تربیت لیے بغیر ہی آجاتی ہے۔ طواف و سعی کے بارے میں درست معلومات نہیں اور دیگر بنیادی معلومات بھی نہیں، لیکن یہ بغیر کسی تربیت کے یہاں پر آ جاتے ہیں۔

اس کے علاوہ ایک اور چیز جو محسوس کی وہ یہ کہ پاکستان سے تعلق رکھنے والے لوگوں میں بڑی تعداد بڑی عمر کے افراد یعنی کے بزرگوں کی ہے اور یہ عمر کے اس حصے میں یہاں پر آتے ہیں جس حصے میں یہ خود سے کام سر انجام نہیں دے سکتے۔

بڑھاپا از خود ایک بیماری ہے۔ عمرہ کے دوران بہت زیادہ چلنا پڑتا ہے لیکن زیادہ عمر ہونے کی وجہ سے یہ لوگ تمام افعال سر انجام نہیں دے پاتے۔

میرے خیال میں لوگوں کے ساتھ ساتھ اسٹیٹ کو بھی دیکھنا چاہیے کہ کیسے ان تمام چیزوں کو مینیج کرے اور اپنے لوگوں کے معیار زندگی کو بلند کریں۔ اور یہ بھی کہ جب لوگ عمرہ اور حج کے لیے جائیں تو ان کو مناسب تربیت کے ساتھ یہاں پر بھیجے کیا پاکستان کی وزارت مذہبی امور اور وزارت حج کا یہ کام نہیں کہ لوگوں کو بنیادی رہنمائی فراہم کرے اور ان کو تربیت دینے کے بعد ہی حرمین شریفین آنے دیا جائے آئے
