مدینہ منورہ کا سفر
(پہلی قسط۔۔۔۔)
اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ کا میرے اوپر خصوصی فضل وکرم ہے کہ جس نے مجھے مقامات مقدسہ کی بار بار زیارت کا شرف نصیب فرمایا ہے۔ جن میں حرمین شریفین اور مسجد اقصی شامل ہیں، ہر سال کئی مرتبہ میرا وہاں جانا ہوتا رہتا ہے۔ جب پہلی دفعہ مینے حرمین شریفین کا سفر کا کیا تو اس وقت میری عمر تقریباً 15 برس تھی، اور وہ پاکستان سے بیرون کا میرا پہلا سفر تھا۔ وہ سفر اس لیے بھی انتہائی یادگار تھا کہ مینے اپنے اساتذہ کے ساتھ سفر کیا تھا، جس میں حضرت مولانا سعید صاحب، حضرت مولانا عبد الرؤف صاحب، میرے شیخ ومربی حضرت مولانا یحییٰ مدنی صاحب، شاہد بھائی صاحب، اور دوسرے دوست واحباب شامل تھے۔ اللہ تعالی نے اسی سفر کی برکت کی وجہ سے حرمین شریفین کی محبت کو میرے دل میں ڈال دیا، اسی سفر سے مجھے بہت کچھ سیکھنے کو ملا اور روحانی فیض حاصل ہوا۔ میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ آج جو میں دین کا کام کر رہا ہوں یہ اسی سفر کی ہی برکت ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسی سفر کی برکت کی وجہ سے دنیا کے کافی ملکوں کا سفر کروایا اور اپنی قدرت کی نشانیاں دیکھنے کا موقع عنایت فرمایا۔
اس سفر کا کچھ حصہ شعبان میں اور کچھ رمضان المبارک میں تھا۔ اسی سفر کے دوراں جب رمضان کا مہینہ شروع ہوا تو اندازہ ہوا کہ رمضان میں مدینہ منورہ اور مکۃ مکرمہ کی کیفیات ہی الگ ہوتی ہیں، ماحول انتہائی پر نور ہوتا ہے، سحر وافطار، تراویح وعبادات کے مسحور کن مناظر ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر 1988 میں تو ماحول آج سے انتہائی مختلف تھا، فطری اور نیچرل ماحول تھا آج کی طرح کوئی بڑی بڑی بلڈنگیں نہیں تھیں، نا ہی آج کی طرح رش تھا۔ حرمین شریفین میں رمضان المبارک کے مہینے گزارنے کا لطف ہی کچھ اور ہوتا ہے۔ وہاں کی کیفیات اور احساسات کو الفاظ میں پرونا نا ممکن ہے۔ میرے اس پہلے سفر کے بعد پڑھائی چلتی رہی۔ زندگی کے کئی نشیب و فراز آئیں، کافی بہاریں بیت گئی، سالوں پر مشتمل سفر طے ہوا، زندگی کہاں سے کہاں لے گئی، پھر ایک بار دوبارہ حرمین شریفین کا ایک سفر ہوا، عمرہ ادا کیا، پھر حج کیا۔ لیکن حرمین شریفین میں رمضان گزارنے کا موقع نہیں ملا۔ ٹی وی پروگرامز اور بیانات کی وجہ سے پورا رمضان انتہائی مصروفیت سے گزرتا تھا۔ لیکن گزشتہ سال آخری عشرے میں اپنے آپکو فارغ کر کے عمرے کا سفر کیا، اور پھر پکا ارادہ کیا کہ ہر سال ان شاءاللہ رمضان المبارک میں حرمین کا سفر کرونگا۔ اس سال بھی اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ سعادت نصیب فرمائی۔ جیسے ہی رمضان المبارک شروع ہوا تو تیاری شروع کر دی، ٹکٹ اور ہوٹلز کی معلومات لینی شروع کر دیں، جب چیک کیا تو دیکھا کہ ہوٹل اور ٹکٹ کے ریٹ انتہائی مہنگے تھے۔ مینے اور میرے اسفار کے رفیق فضل ثانی صاحب نے کسی سستے روٹ سے ٹکٹ حاصل کرنے کی کوشش شروع کر دی، پھر میرے بیٹے عبد الواسع محمد بھی تیار ہو گئے۔ جس کی خوشی بھی انتہائی دیدنی تھی، مجھے اس کی یہ عادت بہت پسند آئی کہ اس نے اپنے نانو، اور دوسرے دوستوں کو بتانا شروع کر دیا تھا کہ میں عمرے کیلئے جا رہا ہوں، اور میرا دل چاہتا ہے کہ میں بیت اللہ کے سامنے کھڑے ہوکر نماز ادا کروں۔ روضہ رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے بیٹھ کر افطار کروں۔ وہ پہلے جا چکا ہے لیکن اس وقت اس کی عمر بہت چھوٹی تھی۔ جب مینے اس کے شوق وجذبے کو دیکھا تو اسے بھی ساتھ لے جانے کا عزم کر لیا۔ پھر ہم نے اٹلی کے راستے ریاض کیلئے ٹکٹ بک کروالی۔ بعد میں عبد الواسع محمد نے میرے چھوٹے بھائی سیماب کو بھی تیار کر لیا جو ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ رہتے ہیں۔ اسی طرح سہیل ضرار خلش صاحب اور سعید کانپوری صاحب بھی ہمارے رفیق سفر بن گئے، ہم نے انکی بھی ٹکٹ خرید لیں، بعد میں کافی دوستوں نے ساتھ جانے کی خواہش کا اظہار کیا لیکن اتنے لوگوں کو ساتھ لے جانا ممکن نہیں تھا۔
اکیسویں رمضان کو الوھاب فاؤنڈیشن کی ٹی وی اپیل کا پروگرام کیا اور 13 اپریل کو جمعرات کو لوٹن ایئرپورٹ سے صبح 6 کی فلائٹ سے اٹلی کے شہر سیسلی کیلئے اڑان بھری، تین گھنٹے کی فلائٹ کے بعد ہم سیسلی پہنچ چکے تھے، پھر وہاں پر ہمارا تین گھنٹے اسٹاپ تھا، جو سیلف ٹرانسفر تھا، جس کا مطلب یہ ہوتا ہے کہ آپ پہلے ملک میں انٹری کرتے ہیں، اور پھر دوبارہ ایگزیٹ کی مہر لگواتے ہیں، پھر دوبارہ سے آپکو بورڈنگ کارڈ لینا ہوتا ہے۔ الحمد للّہ یہ مرحلہ بھی انتہائی خوش اسلوبی سے انجام پایا۔ کچھ لمحوں میں ایئرپورٹ سے باہر نکلے، موسم انتہائی خوشگوار تھا۔ اور یہ وہی سیسلی کا شہر تھا جہاں کبھی مسلمانوں کی حکومت تھی، ہم نے اس شہر کا فضائی منظر دیکھا جو بہت ہی دلکش اور پر سحر تھا. واپس ہم نے سیسلی کے ایئرپورٹ سے ریاض کیلئے فلائٹ لی، جب ہم ریاض ایئرپورٹ پر پہنچے تو وہاں افطار کا ٹائم تھا۔ ہم نے جہاز میں ہی افطار کیا اور لینڈ کر کے مغرب کی نماز ادا کی۔ جب ایمیگریشن مراحل سے فارغ ہوئے تو سعید کانپوری صاحب کے ماموں ایئرپورٹ سے باہر ہمارے انتظار میں تھے۔ وہ ریاض میں ہی رہتے ہیں، اور بہت ہی نفیس انسان ہیں۔ وہ ہمیں رسیو کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ہماری ضیافت کا سامان بھی لائے تھے، جس میں پکوڑے، جوس اور دوسری چیزیں شامل تھیں۔ ہم ایئرپورٹ سے نکل کر انکی گاڑی میں بیٹھ گئے، ان کے گھر پہنچے، انہوں نے ہماری خاطر خواہ تواضع کی، اور ضیافت کا خوب اہتمام کیا۔ وہ رات ہم نے ریاض میں ہی قیام کیا۔ تیئیس رمضان المبارک کی رات تھی، کھانے کے بعد ہم باہر نکلے کچھ دیر ریاض شہر کا نظارہ کیا۔ اور ایک سپر اسٹور سے سحری کیلئے دہی اور کچھ دوسری چیزیں خریدیں پھر واپس آئے رات کا کچھ حصہ عبادت میں مصروف رہے۔ سحری کا ٹائم ہوا، سحری کی اور صبح کی نماز ادا کی۔ صبح 6 بجے ہماری ریاض سے مدینہ منورہ کیلئے فلائٹ تھی۔ ہم نے سحری کے فورا بعد فلائٹ کی تیاری، پھر ریاض ایئرپورٹ کا رخ کیا جہاں فلائٹ اپنے ٹائم پر موجود تھی، صبح 6 بجے کو جہاز نے اڑان بھری اور ٹھیک ایک گھنٹے بعد صبح 7 بجے کو ہم مدینہ منورہ کی پر نور فضاؤں میں موجود تھے۔ جہاز نے جمعۃ المبارک صبح سات بجے مدینہ ایئرپورٹ پر لینڈ کیا، اور یہی جمعۃ الوداع بھی تھا۔

Episode 1: A Blessed Beginning
I have been granted the extraordinary privilege of visiting holy places by the special grace and honour of Allah Ta’ala. Among these sacred sites are the Haram Sharif and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which I have the opportunity to visit multiple times each year. My first journey to the Haram Sharif holds a special place in my heart, as it marked my initial venture beyond the borders of Pakistan. Accompanied by my esteemed teachers, including Hazrat Maulana Saeed Sahib, Hazrat Maulana Abdul Rauf Sahib, my Sheikh and mentor Hazrat Maulana Yahya Madani Sahib, Shahid Bhai Sahib, and other friends and relatives, this trip was a memorable experience.
During this pilgrimage, my love for Haramain Sharifain was etched into my heart, and I gained invaluable spiritual blessings and knowledge. I attribute my present endeavors to the blessings bestowed upon me during this journey. Allah, in His infinite wisdom, facilitated my travels to numerous countries worldwide, allowing me to witness the magnificent signs of His power.
The journey to Madinah Munawarah took place partly in the month of Shaban and partly in Ramadan. As Ramadan commenced, I realized the distinctiveness of Madinah Munawarah and Makkah Mukarramah during this blessed month. The atmosphere was permeated with light, and enchanting scenes of Sehr and Iftar, Taraweeh prayers, and devotion adorned the surroundings. Reflecting upon the year 1988, the environment differed significantly from today’s bustling cityscape, as natural surroundings prevailed without towering structures. Experiencing the month of Ramadan in Haram Sharif was an indescribable delight. Words fail to capture the ambiance and emotions that enveloped me during this time.
Following my initial trip, life’s journey unfolded with its twists and turns, passing through countless springs and seasons. Several years elapsed, leading me down diverse paths. Yet, a longing persisted to return to the Haramain Sharifeen, to perform Umrah and eventually Hajj. Unfortunately, the opportunity to spend Ramadan in Haram Sharif eluded me due to television commitments and public engagements. However, last year, after a decade-long hiatus, I freed myself from prior obligations and embarked on an Umrah journey, firmly resolving to make it a yearly tradition.
This year, by the grace of Allah Ta’ala, we were blessed with the happiness of visiting Haram during Ramadan once again. As soon as Ramadan commenced, I initiated the preparations, gathering information about tickets and accommodations. However, I discovered that the rates for hotels and flights were exorbitant. My travel companion, Fazal Sanni Sahib, and my son, Abdul Wasay Muhammad, eagerly joined me in the search for more affordable options. Abdul Wasay’s excitement was profound, as he eagerly shared the news with his grandmother and friends, yearning to pray before the Kaaba and break his fast in the presence of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) shrine. Although he had accompanied me on a previous journey when he was very young, witnessing his enthusiasm prompted me to include him in this pilgrimage. Consequently, we booked tickets to Riyadh via Italy. In addition, my younger brother, Seemab, residing in [location], and two other companions, Sohail Zarar Khalish and Saeed Kanpuri, also joined us on this sacred voyage. We arranged their tickets, while many other friends expressed their desire to accompany us, unfortunately, due to constraints, it was not feasible to accommodate everyone.
On the 21st of Ramadan, we organized a TV appeal for the Al-Wahab Foundation. Then, on Thursday, April 13, at 6 am, we boarded a flight from Luton Airport to Sicily, Italy. After a three-hour journey, we arrived in Sicily. With a three-hour stopover, which involved self-transfer procedures, we obtained the entry and exit stamps before acquiring our boarding cards once again. Alhamdulillah, this phase proceeded smoothly. Stepping out of the airport, we were greeted by pleasant weather. Sicily, once ruled by Muslims, showcased captivating aerial views of the city’s charming landscapes. We then departed from Sicily Airport, bound for Riyadh. As we landed in Riyadh, it was time for Iftar. We broke our fast in the airplane and performed the Maghrib prayer upon arrival. Upon completing the immigration process, we were received by Saeed Kanpuri’s maternal uncle, a hospitable resident of Riyadh. He warmly welcomed us and arranged a delightful meal comprising fritters, juices, and other delectable items. We departed from the airport in his car, arrived at his residence, where he continued to shower us with gracious hospitality. We spent the night in Riyadh, which coincided with the 23rd night of Ramadan. After the meal, we ventured out to explore the city of Riyadh briefly, purchasing yogurt and other suhoor essentials from a supermarket before returning to engage in worship throughout the night. As suhoor time approached, we participated in a pre-dawn meal and offered the morning prayer. At 6 am, our flight from Riyadh to Medina commenced. Following suhoor, we swiftly prepared for the flight and made our way to Riyadh Airport. Our flight departed promptly at 6 am, and precisely one hour later, at 7 am, we basked in the gentle air of Madinah Munawarah. The plane gracefully touched down at Madinah Airport on the auspicious Friday morning, coinciding with Jumu’ah Al-Wada.

Dear readers, since the day when the FIFA World Cup was approaching in Qatar was approaching, the Western media intensified their offensive attitude against Qatar and started spreading propaganda against them very quickly. It was said that Qatar commits widespread human rights violations and the conditions of migrant workers living there are not good.
Dear readers, I just came across the news that there was a bus accident in Sindh where many people were martyred while several were injured, including children and women. First of all, may Allah forgive those who have died in this accident, heal those who are injured as soon as possible and grant patience to the bereaved, Ameen.
One thing I noticed and observed during my recent trip to Haram Sharif is that many Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan were present there. You can clearly see two classes among them; one class is those who look miserable from their clothes, their lifestyle and appearance and it is clear that they are suffering from financial hardship.
